The bay of Essouira is especially suitable for novice and intermediate surfers.

We Teach Yoga Around Essaouira

Essaouira means ‘Image’ and from any angle this place really does look stunning. It is situated on Morocco’s Atlantic Coast between Marrakech to the North and Agadir to the South. It stands on a vast bay that sweeps south with miles of golden sandy beaches and wooded hills. Essaouira Yoga Holidays & Retreats

Our yoga holidays offer an opportunity to practice yoga twice daily, we will work on both asana and pranayama practice building strength and flexibilty, we will also place emphasis on meditation during which you can appreciate your exotic surroundings! Weather permitting we will hold classes on the beach to sunset, the sounds of the call to prayer making this stunning place even more memorable.

Outside of the yoga classes Essaouira can offer much or as little as you want. Wander around the old city walls, take in the Atlantic ocean, eat fresh fish straight from the fishing boats, there’s loads to do. If you want to do other activities we can also recommend local businesses operating Trips to the Sahara desert where you can witness a rural life that hasn’t changed much in hundreds of years. Enjoy some of the many luxurious and affordable Spas and Hammams for a variety of treatments from mud baths, massages and full body scrubs. Haggle for your bargains in the treasure-troves of market stalls and enjoy walks and swims along the sandy beaches, there’s even the option to surf the great big swells which Morocco gets courtesy of the Atlantic.
